One half of today's harvest

I was a bit off on my estimate. Three bushels of All Blue and one of Russet. That makes five bushels of potatoes in total, approximately 200 pounds, if memory serves, from 20 pounds of seed potatoes. Works for me.

Winter Store method? On sand beds or bagged?

Parts of the basement are cool enough to store the spuds and garlic. We put the potatoes in bags and the garlic in a bin. However, not all of the potatoes are in the house. The All Blues in the photo went to our somewhat insulated storage shed. They will keep fine there most of the winter.
