Last bits

Besides the Brussels Sprouts, the peppers are the last to be picked before we get a frost.  There is kale and chard too, but we'll pick that as needed. The remaining peppers yielded about 1/3 bushel each of bells and Jimmy Nardelos. I may try my hand at pickling when the rains come back on Thursday.

Bell peppers with ladybug.

I resisted. Believe me, it was difficult.

The bug in the first one is cute, but the second one is shocking when expanded.

Ladybugs are supposed to e good luck. When I get a sandwich at Subway, they have sweet peppers that might be what you show in the second shot. Yum.

The Nardelos are the best sweet peppers I have ever tasted. If I do pickle the 1/3 peck, I will do some with garlic and a single jalepeño and the rest with a touch of sugar and onion.
